Blitz Report™ Library

The Blitz Report™ library is a collection of operational and diagnostic reports for Oracle E-Business Suite

This library is a free open source SQL knowledge base for Oracle E-Business Suite customers and IT professionals. It contains SQLs that we created (category: Enginatics) and SQLs imported from Oracle’s BI Publisher reports (category: BI Publisher).

If you have Bitz Report installed, you can download a single or multiple reports as XML file from this library and automatically load them into your environment, including parameters, LOVs and category assignments.

If you would like to try one of these SQLs without having Blitz Report installed, as SQLs are composed dynamically at runtime, it is easiest to copy the query from the second tab of the example Excel sheet instead from the report’s detail page. Note that some of the reports require functions from utility package xxen_util.

To facilitate development work and help learning the EBS table structure, there are hyperlinks on each table to navigate directly to the corresponding Oracle ETRM record.

We also encourage you to contribute by adding your own SQL reports or suggesting enhancements and corrections to existing SQLs.
To add new reports, simply log in to our online demo environment, create a Blitz Report and it will automatically show up in this library (creation of a Blitz Report is shown here).

FA Asset Transfers	Asset transfers between distributions (employee, expense account and location), one row per transfer and distribution side. A transfer closes the From distributions and creates the To distributions. Units, cost and reserve are signed, negative on the From side and positive on the To side, so a transfer nets to zero and a sum by cost center, account or location shows what moved in and out. Cost, reserve, depreciation expense and revaluation reserve are the amounts the transfer moved between the distributions in the selected book, taken from its accounting adjustments. FA Asset Upload	Upload to create, update, and retire fixed assets using FA Public APIs. New assets are created via fa_addition_pub.do_addition. Existing assets are updated via fa_asset_desc_pub.update_desc, fa_reclass_pub.do_reclass, and fa_adjustment_pub.do_adjustment. FA Fixed Assets Book	Assets held in a depreciation book with their cost, depreciation and net book value as at the end of the selected period. Replaces the Oracle standard RXi: Fixed Assets Book report. The rows are extracted by the same routine its RX-only: Fixed Assets Book data program uses, so cost and depreciation figures are identical. The two seeded RXi attribute sets, Default and Book Details, are shipped as the templates of the same names; each puts the asset detail on the report sheet and the RXi group subtotals on a pivot sheet beside it.
