Forms Usability: Adjusting EBS Forms Resolution on Mac OS with clientDPI Profile Option

Several functional users working on Mac OS workstations have reported issues where the EBS Forms size is either too large or too small, leading to an inferior user experience compared to their native Mac OS resolution. We need a way to easily adjust the Oracle EBS Forms resolution individually for these users. Is there a simple EBS profile option configuration that allows us to manage the display size without complex application server changes?

      This issue, documented for Mac OS workstations experiencing inferior Forms resolution, can be resolved by adjusting a core EBS profile value. You need to modify the profile option ICX: Forms Launcher at the user level to append a specific parameter.

      You must append `?clientDPI=96` (or another appropriate value) to the existing value of the ICX: Forms Launcher profile. The number appended controls the resolution: a higher value, such as 150, makes the form size larger, while a lower value like 50 makes it smaller. Users should experiment to find the optimal DPI setting for their specific monitor.
