Hands On Tutorial – Oracle EBS – SQL to Excel Reporting for Non-developers

Our end users, particularly in finance, are constantly frustrated by the long wait times for IT to fulfill simple, ad-hoc reporting requests. We need a solution that empowers non-developers to extract data directly. Can Blitz Report really enable ‘EBS SQL to Excel reporting’ for non-technical users?

Absolutely. The Blitz Report tool is specifically designed for Oracle EBS end users who are often intimidated by traditional report creation methods, addressing the frustration of waiting on IT. We offer tutorials geared toward non-developers showing them how to easily use SQL for Excel reporting directly from EBS. The learning curve is minimal, as it resides within the familiar Oracle forms interface.

If we allow them to run SQL, how fast is the process, and what about output formatting? BI Publisher formatting is cumbersome.

Report creation is incredibly fast; new reports can often be created in minutes, sometimes even under 10 minutes for perfectly formatted Excel output. Critically, Blitz Report delivers the required data as native Excel files with formatting and filters applied automatically. There is no volume limitation like with BI Publisher, and no complex XML formatting is required to produce the final Excel report.
