EBS Reporting Output Limits and Excel Formatting

We frequently run inventory valuation reports using BI Publisher in EBS 12.1.3, but the output defaults to XLS format, severely limiting the row count to 65,536. How can we consistently generate reports in the newer XLSX format to handle high volumes without having to develop complex custom solutions?

      This limitation is commonly encountered when EBS 12.1.3 BI Publisher Excel templates generate XLS instead of XLSX, capping the row number at 65,536.
