WIP Material Variances for Closed Jobs Post-Period

We need to audit WIP material variances on jobs closed within a specific accounting period, summarized by inventory organization and WIP class. Which report provides this view?

      The CAC WIP Material Relief report is suitable for this. It shows WIP material variances on closed jobs for discrete manufacturing, summarizing by inventory organization, WIP class, and job status.

      Does this report reflect the components issued precisely at the time of the period closure?

      It’s important to note a limitation: this report uses the latest material issue quantities stored on the WIP job definition, even if run for a prior period. It does not roll back the component issue quantities for a prior accounting period.

      We deal with Profit in Inventory (PII). Can the report include these amounts in the variance analysis?

      Yes, the report includes any Profit in Inventory (PII) amounts. You can specify the ‘PII Cost Type’ and ‘PII Sub-Element’ parameters if needed.

      The ‘Period Name’ parameter is mandatory, specifying the accounting period you wish to report.
