Setting the Sender Address for Outbound Emails

We need to ensure all Blitz Report emails originate from a dedicated, monitored address. Which profile option defines the sender’s email address?

      You use the profile option ‘Blitz Report From Email Address’. This allows specifying the email address that Blitz Report emails are sent from.

      It is necessary because some email servers only allow sending from certain authorized email accounts.

      Can I include a sender name (e.g., ‘Blitz Report Alerts’) along with the email address?

      Yes, you can specify a name along with the email address by putting the name first and providing the email address inside angle brackets. Example: `Enginatics GmbH `.

      What is the system’s default behavior if this profile is unset?

      The default derivation is the Email address from the user or, if not set, from the employee record.
