Reviewing Recently Created Items for Configuration Errors

We need to audit all items created within the last month to verify they have the correct item controls, costs (per the costing method), and master accounts. Which report assists with this new item audit?

The CAC New Items report is perfect for this. It shows items recently created based on the item master creation date, including various item controls, costs, accounts, and current onhand stock.

I want to ensure the report doesn’t accidentally skip items that are deliberately set to ‘Uncosted’ in our costing method. How do I control that filtering?

You control this using the ‘Include Uncosted Items’ parameter. Set it to ‘Yes’ (which is the default) to display items that are configured to not be costed in your Costing Method Cost Type.

What are the mandatory parameters for this report?

The mandatory parameters are the ‘Creation Date From’ and ‘Creation Date To’, which define the date range for the item master creation date.
