We are planning our upgrade path from Oracle E-Business Suite 12.2.9 to the 12.2.10 release. We need assurance that our key reporting tool is compatible and tested on the absolute latest version immediately after its release.

Enginatics maintains a strong commitment to staying up to date with the latest technology. Our team immediately prioritized upgrading our EBS Demo instance from 12.2.9 to 12.2.10 right after the new release was announced. This ensures that our customers can confidently test Blitz Report, which is recognized as the fastest reporting solution for Oracle E-Business Suite, on the most recent software.

What is the primary benefit of having the reporting solution ready on 12.2.10 immediately? Does it help with the upgrade process itself?

Immediate readiness is crucial for project stability. During the upgrade process (like 12.2.9 to 12.2.10), you need reliable tools for validation and performance monitoring. Blitz Report serves as a critical component in your project implementation and upgrade toolkit , helping with data migration validation (BR100 extracts) and monitoring system health via AWR reports.

We are specifically concerned about the database health after the upgrade. Can we use the DBA toolkit within Blitz Report to assess performance metrics unique to the new 12.2.10 environment?

Yes. The toolkit includes the Database Health and Tuning reports, which encompass a comprehensive suite of AWR and FND reports. This allows your DBAs to quickly and efficiently assess any pre-existing bottleneck processes or user waits in the newly upgraded 12.2.10 environment, ensuring performance is optimized immediately post-migration.

We notice other upgrade paths are frequently documented (12.2.7 to 12.2.8 , 12.2.8 to 12.2.9 , 12.2.11 to 12.2.12 ). Does this suggest a continuous commitment to supporting these vital long-term EBS investments?

Our public documentation of these various upgrade paths demonstrates our ongoing commitment to supporting the EBS platform. This aligns with the strategic view that EBS remains a vital platform for organizations with complex, highly customized operations.
