Optimizing GL Reports with Summary Account Indexes

We are following best practices and creating GL Summary Accounts. What is the next required step to ensure optimal performance of the GL Financial Statement and Drilldown (FSG) report?

      For optimal performance of the FSG report, you must run a specific concurrent program after the summary templates are created.

      What is the name of this required concurrent program?

      You need to navigate to the System Administrator responsibility and run the concurrent program ‘Blitz Report Update GL Indexes’.

      Does this step only apply if we use Summary Accounts?

      Yes, it is done after the creation of the summary templates (via GL Super User > Setup > Accounts > Summary) is completed.
