Maintaining Original Column Names for Data Interfaces

We use Blitz Reports for outbound interfaces, and the consuming system requires the SQL column headers to remain in their original English form, even in multilingual environments. How can I stop the automatic translation?

You need to set the profile option ‘Blitz Report Disable Column Translations’ to ‘Yes’. This is used to disable the translation of the report’s header, which is often required for interface needs.

What is the default behavior if the profile is not set?

By default, SQL column headers get translated automatically to strings defined in Tools > Column Header Translations.

Can this setting be overridden at the runtime options window?

Yes, the runtime option ‘Disable Column Translations’ provides the same functionality at the moment of report execution.
