Lost Custom Application Environment Variables Post-Splice

Avatar photoCustomer March 10, 2024 at 4:48 pm

After running adsplice for XXEN, we found environment variables for previously existing custom applications are unset, and their entries are missing from `$APPL_TOP/admin/topfile.txt`.

This loss of environment variables is a known side effect, often if the other custom products were added manually and not originally via adsplice. You must manually re-enter the custom tops entries back into the `$APPL_TOP/admin/topfile.txt` file.

And what is the final step after modifying `topfile.txt`?

You must rerun AutoConfig to ensure the context files and environment setups are correctly generated with all custom application paths.
