Inventory Value Report Equivalent to Standard Oracle Reports

We need to generate a comprehensive inventory valuation report that can run across multiple organizations and break down the value by elemental item cost level, encompassing Onhand, Intransit, and Receiving quantities. Which report should I use?

      You should use the CST Inventory Value – Multi-Organization (Item Costs) report. This report can be used to report inventory value by Elemental Item Cost level and Quantity Type.

      We sometimes need to include non-costed items in our reports. Are there any restrictions when running this report historically?

      Yes, there is a technical note on this: To run the report including non-costed items, the ‘As of Date’ parameter must be left blank (current date). The report cannot be run historically when including non-costed items due to a bug in the Oracle API used to populate the costing tables.

      The report documentation mentions the output can be analyzed by Ledger, Operating Unit, Organization, Subinventory, Item Category, and Cost Group. How is this flexibility achieved?

      This report is built to allow analysis by those attributes, typically leveraging the pivot aggregation layout templates functionality of Blitz Report.
