Include row count and last modified date in the parameters tab

Hi Mrugesh/Team,

As discussed with you offline. Business was asking couple of minor enhancement such as stated below:

In the Parameters tab would it be possible to include additionally:

  • The results row count
  • The last modified date of the Blitz program/SQL

Could you please let us know if this feasible and turnaround time for the same.

      Hi,

      We could add the results row count in the parameters tab, and we have included this in our list of enhancements. However, since this can already be achieved using the template features, it is a lower priority at the moment. I’ll aim to have this included within the next month.

      Regarding the second requirement, we discussed it, and we don’t believe adding “the last modified date of the Blitz program/SQL” would be a widely applicable use case across companies. There are several other ways to address this, including:

      1. Scheduling and emailing the report output.
      2. Utilizing the version history maintained in all reports.
      3. Our “Blitz Reports” already has a “Last SQL Update Date” column to provide this information.
      4. The SQL shown in the parameter tab can also be compared with earlier reports to determine if it has been updated.
