Importing Discoverer SQL with Minimal Modification

We require the imported Discoverer SQL to maintain its original structure as much as possible, even if it’s messy. How do I prevent Blitz Report from applying code enhancements during conversion?

      You should set the profile option ‘Blitz Report Discoverer Import Preserve Original SQL’ to ‘Yes’. This turns off Blitz Report’s additional structural code enhancements when importing and converting Discoverer worksheet SQLs.

      While this makes the import more robust, the converted SQLs will be less ‘pretty’.

      Yes, preserving the original SQL can make troubleshooting easier, as there are fewer changes introduced by the conversion engine.
