Finding Missing Overhead Associations for Resources

Avatar photoCustomer March 16, 2022 at 1:38 pm

Our manufacturing variance reports show unexpected costs, and we suspect some resources might be missing overhead associations. Which Blitz Report can audit which resources are associated with which overheads, and highlight those that are missing associations?

Use the CAC Resources Associated with Overheads Setup report. This report shows resources associated with overheads and specifically identifies any resources without any overhead associations, reporting ‘Missing’ in the first column if no setup exists.

If a resource doesn’t have a defined cost, how does the report indicate that?

If a resource does not have a cost, the ‘Resource Rate’ column will have a blank or empty value.

Is the ‘Resource/Overhead Cost Type’ parameter mandatory?

No, it is optional. If left blank, the report defaults to using your inventory organization’s AvgRates or Frozen Cost Type, depending on your Costing Method.
