Extending ECC Dashboards and Data Export

We are using an ECC dashboard for our Quality module, but we need to bring in some additional data fields from the database that are not natively displayed. Is it possible to extend existing ECC dashboards with this additional data?

      Yes, it is possible to extend existing ECC dashboards with additional data. You can refer to Oracle’s documentation on extending Oracle Enterprise Command Centers for guidance on adding data. Furthermore, it is also possible to create a complete new dashboard entirely based on a custom dataset tailored to your requirements.

      We also have custom charts built in an OAF page using data from our Quality tables. Can we replicate or integrate this chart data into the ECC dashboard environment?

      While creating a new dashboard is possible based on custom datasets, incorporating complex OAF page chart logic directly requires adherence to the ECC data definition structure. However, the foundational data utilized by both the OAF page and the custom ECC dataset would be extracted via similar means.

      So for administrative purposes, Blitz Report is the guaranteed way to get the full raw data set out of ECC, regardless of which module (like Quality) we are reporting on?
