Exporting Buy Item Costs for Mass Update

We need to download all buy item costs (where ‘Based on Rollup’ is No) from our current cost type into a format ready to be edited and uploaded using the More4Apps Item Cost Wizard. Which report should I use?

      Use the CAC Load More4Apps Buy Item Costs report. This report fetches all buy items (based on rollup = No) and approximates the layout needed for the More4Apps Item Cost Wizard.

      Why is the report defaulted to only pull Buy Items and exclude rolled-up costs?

      The Oracle Item Cost Interface works best for Buy Items. It does not work well with rolled-up costs, so the report excludes items whose costs are based on the cost rollup, ensuring compatibility with the interface.

      What key columns, besides the cost type and item number, are included to match the wizard’s required fields?

      Required columns for the wizard include Org Code, Cost Type, Item Number, Based on Rollup, Lot Size, Mfg Shrinkage, Cost Element, Sub-Element, Basis Type, and Rate or Amount.

      What are the two mandatory cost type parameters for this data extraction?

      You must enter the ‘From Cost Type’ (the source of the download) and the ‘To Cost Type’ (the cost type you plan to upload back into the wizard).
