Establishing a Global Default Time Limit for Reports

We want a global safety net, setting a default maximum run time for any report that doesn’t have an individual time limit defined. Where is this global limit set?

You set the profile option ‘Blitz Report Time Limit in minutes’. This sets the default maximum execution time limit in minutes if not configured on the report level.

What happens if this profile is left blank?

The default value is ‘no limit’.

If a user sets a time limit in the run window, does this global profile override it?

No, the Run window option time limit takes the highest precedence (1), followed by the profile on the user level (2), and then the report level (3). This global profile acts as a fallback for the responsibility and site levels (4 and 5).
