Displaying Dates with Full Year and Leading Zeros

Avatar photoCustomer April 8, 2020 at 10:13 pm

We need all dates in our Excel outputs to use the full four-digit year and include a leading zero for single-digit days (e.g., 05-Jan-2018). How can I enforce this long date format?

You must set the profile option ‘Blitz Report XLSX Use Long Date Format’ to ‘Yes’. This ensures dates in Blitz Report output XLSX files show the full year and a leading zero for single-digit days.

What is the default date format behavior?

The default value is ‘No’, meaning it does not enforce the long date format.

Does this work in conjunction with the ‘Blitz Report XLSX Date Format’ profile?

Yes, the Date Format profile sets the mask, and the Long Date Format profile allows the showing of leading zeros for the day, month, and the full year.
