Developer Access to All Reports Regardless of Responsibility

As a developer, I need to see all reports I can access across all my responsibilities, even if I’m currently logged in as a specific user. What should the filter profile be set to?

      For developers, the profile option ‘Blitz Report Filter Reports by Responsibility’ is typically set to ‘No’. This ensures all reports available to the developer are displayed, regardless of the current login responsibility.

      But if I set it to ‘No’, will I lose the ability to check if a report is available for users under a specific responsibility?

      No, even if a developer has unrestricted access, they can still check report availability because the Run window reports LOV is still restricted by a current responsibility.

      What is the default setting for developers?

      The default value for developers is ‘No’.

      Does setting this to ‘No’ affect the visibility in the Setup window?

      No, if a user has developer access, all reports are still displayed on the Setup window anyway, as it is required for development.
