Custom Schema Derivation Failure during Installation

We encountered the error ‘CUSTOM_SCHEMA could not be derived for custom application XXEN’ during installation. What setup step links the custom application to the database schema?

This issue means the necessary link between your custom application (XXEN) and its Oracle database username is missing in the EBS setup. You need to configure this under Alert Manager > System > Installations.

I thought running `adsplice` handled this automatically. If we created the application manually, is there a specific note that outlines this missed step?

You are correct; `adsplice` typically handles this. If created manually, this step is often missed, as some Oracle notes describing manual custom application creation omit it. You must add an entry in the ‘Installations’ form for the Enginatics Custom Application and Oracle user XXEN.
