Controlling SQL Editor Access via Double Click

When developers double-click the report SQL text, the editor window pops up. We prefer to use double-click for highlighting keywords in the main form instead. Can this default behavior be disabled?

Yes, you can use the profile option ‘Blitz Report Disable SQL Text Double Click Editor Window’. Setting this to ‘Yes’ disables the default behavior to open the editor window upon double-clicking the SQL text.

What is the benefit of disabling the editor pop-up?

It allows the developer to highlight keywords in the SQL text through double click, instead of immediately opening a new editor window.

      What is the default setting?

The default value is ‘No’ (meaning the editor opens).
