Concurrent Programs Held by Conflict Resolution Manager

We often see requests stuck in a ‘Held’ status due to conflicts. How can I get a detailed list of requests that were held by the conflict resolution manager and identify the specific running requests that were blocking them?

Use the FND Concurrent Request Conflicts report. It lists concurrent requests held by the conflict resolution manager and shows their conflicting/blocking requests that were running at the time of the conflict.

If I identify a highly conflicting concurrent program, what general tuning step should I consider?

You should investigate the program’s definition for potential non-standard incompatibility rules or unnecessary locking. The FND Concurrent Program Incompatibilities report can show the defined incompatibilities.

I know the conflicts happen between a specific report and a transaction processing program. Can I narrow down the report output to just those conflicts?

The FND Concurrent Request Conflicts report allows filtering by the requested start date and conflict release date to narrow the scope of the investigation to specific timeframes when the known conflicts occurred.
