We need a report that lists each item and provides a detailed breakdown of all associated costs that contribute to the item’s total unit cost, segmented by cost element.

      You should use the CST Detailed Item Cost report. This is a detail report that lists each item and the associated costs recognized as part of the total unit cost of producing the item.

      If I need a more customized view that summarizes costs by Department or Operation, can this report handle that?

      For customized summarization across manufacturing metrics like Department, Activity, or Operation, you should use the CST Item Cost Reports suite, which offers multiple options like ‘Element by Department’ or ‘Operation by Activity’.

      Yes, you can use the FA CIP Cost report. It provides CIP Costs Summary/Detail, equivalent to the standard Oracle CIP reports.
