Archiving Data using the Snapshot Tool

I need to finalize a report for archiving and ensure the data remains static, independent of the live Oracle connection. Which tool should I use?

You should use the ‘Snapshot’ tool under Blitz FSG Tools. This converts your report into static values.

Does this tool simply paste values, and does it remove the Blitz FSG functions?

It functions similarly to Excel’s *Paste Values*, but it is designed to remove all Blitz FSG functions from the workbook, replacing them with the current calculated results.

Does this process affect other non-FSG formulas I might have in the workbook?

No, the Snapshot feature preserves all other Excel formulas and formatting in the file. Only the Blitz FSG functions are targeted.
