Advanced Pricing Configuration and Troubleshooting

We need a master data report to audit the setup of our Advanced Pricing. This should detail item prices, calculation methods, terms, and effectivity dates for all price lists.

      The QP Price Lists report is the correct master data report for showing the setup details of price lists.

      When a customer price calculation is complex, resulting in incorrect prices, how can I debug the exact steps and modifiers the Pricing Engine applied?

      Use the QP Customer Pricing Engine Request report. Run it in Detail Mode to get a breakdown of the Price List and Modifier Lines the pricing engine applied, as well as Pricing Attribute and Qualifier Attribute details.

      If I only need high-level pricing and margin analysis per customer/item, should I run the Pricing Engine report in Detail Mode?

      No, if you only need the summary, run it in Summary Mode. This displays a summary of Applied Price Lists, List Price, Adjustment Amount, Final Unit Selling Price, Item Cost, and Margin.

      Does this report support checking pricing differences at the customer site level versus the customer level?

      Yes, if you set ‘Display Site Pricing Differences’ to ‘Yes’, the report checks pricing at both the Customer Account and the specified Ship To/Bill To Locations.
