Adding run details to the report email subject

When a report is emailed, the subject line needs to include the Concurrent Request ID for tracking. Is there a placeholder for this?

Yes, Blitz Report supports placeholders for automated replacement at run-time within the email subject. You can use the placeholder &REQUEST_ID to include the concurrent request number.

What other useful details can I include dynamically, perhaps the number of rows returned?

You can include &ROW_COUNT (the number of rows returned), &REPORT_NAME, &DB_NAME, &USER_NAME, and &SITE_NAME. These are replaced when the email is sent.

And how do I change the fixed text template around these placeholders?

The default email subject is stored in the Oracle FND message XXEN_REPORT_EMAIL_SUBJECT. You can edit this text via Application Developer > Application > Message.

If I create a custom message, how do I tell Blitz Report to use it?

You can create new custom messages prefixed with `XXEN_REPORT_EMAIL` and then set the profile option ‘Blitz Report Email Subject Message’ to use your custom message.
