I need to configure access for users who will be creating and maintaining standard reports. Which profile setting is recommended?

You should set the ‘Blitz Report Access’ profile option to ‘Developer’. This is the required setting for users with the SQL skills necessary for creating Blitz Reports.

Does this give them permission to create and modify all types of reports?

They have full access to create, modify, and delete reports of type ‘Standard’. However, they have full access, except uploads, system, and protected reports.

If a Developer logs in, which reports are visible in the Setup window?

Developers typically have their access profile set at the user level, which allows them to access all reports and the setup window from all login responsibilities.

Can they modify shared LOVs or column translations?

Yes, Developers can create, modify, or delete categories and column translations.
