AR Past Due Invoice report

The AR Past Due Invoice report is not working correctly.  We noticed because the numbers do not match the standard Oracle Past Due Invoice Report.  The parameters are not being taken into account.  If we enter a date of today in the As of Date parameter, it is still bringing up invoices that are due in the future.  Future invoices are not past due.  If we try to modify this by entering a days late low and high range, the report doesn’t change.  If you look at the query for the report, there is no check on the days late parameters.  We have version 3.2.6 of the report.  I checked your latest version on your website and the query is written exactly the same.  Can you take a look at this report and let us know how to fix it?

      Thanks for spotting this.
I’m surprised that we did not recognize this earlier, as I am showing this report in every product demo.
Please download and import the corrected AR Past Due Invoice report and let me know if it resolves the issue.

      Thanks and regards,
      Andy

      Hi,

If you have Developer access for Blitz Report, you can download the XML definition and import it yourself from the setup window menu > Tools > Import > XML Upload.
It would not harm updating Blitz Report to the latest version thought by the DBAs, as we keep on enhancing the tool and introducing new functionality.
Let me know if the import works for you. The missing restriction was this one btw.: apsa.due_date<=:p_as_of_date.

      Regards,
      Andy

Thanks!  This is what I was looking for.  I thought I could just download and import the XML for the report.  Perfect.

I did this in test.  When I go into the report I get this error:

But after I clicked OK, I was able to run the report.  Report works for the as of date.  Yay!  Report still does not work when entering a days late range.  If I enter a 5 here, I would expect to pull just those with a Days Past Due = 5 but I still get everything based on the date only.

      Hi,

Looks like Andy had started to reply to your email, but had been side-tracked.

I have updated the report so Days Past Due Low/High and the Balance Due Low/High parameters are now working correctly.

And the error message that you see when opening is due to the default value using the xxen_util.previous_parameter_value function, which does not exist yet in your older Blitz Report version.

So for the time being I have attached a version of the report you can import into Blitz Report which does not reference these newer functions.

      Kind Regards,

      Eric

Thanks, Eric!  This new XML report has resolved our issues.  I have implemented this version in our Production environment.  You can close my ticket.

      I appreciate your help.

      Michelle
