The master reference for an organization's quality standards. | Manufacturing Enginatics, R12 only
| QA Collection Plan Actions | Lists every action rule defined against an Oracle Quality collection plan - the trigger condition that fires the rule, the action it runs, the element it assigns, the alert it raises and the collection elements bound into its message - as a union of the rules attached to the collection plan itself and the rules defined on the collection element master, discriminated by an Action Level column. Trigger conditions that carry no action are listed too.
Oracle Quality evaluates these rules while quality results are entered. A rule is a trigger condition on one collection element - the element is… full description | Manufacturing Enginatics
| QA Collection Plan Element Values | Lists the allowed values behind every list-validated Oracle Quality collection element - the entries an operator can pick when entering quality results, and the collection element master values each plan was seeded from.
Oracle Quality holds these values in two independent places. A collection plan carries its own value list, and the collection element carries a master list. A plan is seeded from the master but is not tied to it afterwards: it can carry codes that were never in the master, override a master value's description, and leave master values out. The Value Level column says which… full description | Manufacturing Enginatics
| QA Collection Plan Elements | Every collection element assigned to an Oracle Quality collection plan, with the element's prompt and sequence on the plan, its element type, datatype, display length, decimal precision and unit of measure, the plan level and element level default values, and the Mandatory, Enabled, Displayed, Read Only, Information and Poplist flags. Collection plans that have no elements are listed too.
Oracle Quality stores every collection result generically in qa_results, whose character1 to character100 columns carry no meaning of their own: the element to column mapping is held per plan in… full description | Manufacturing Enginatics
| QA Collection Plan Relationships | Every Oracle Quality parent child collection plan relationship, at one row per parent element to child element mapping. Each row names both plans with their descriptions and plan types, the relationship type, the data entry mode and layout mode that govern how the child rows are presented, the automatic row count and default parent specification flag, and the element relationship operator that says what the parent value does to the child value, together with the plan level prompt of each mapped element. A relationship that has no element mapping yet is still listed, as a single row.

| QA Collection Plan Transactions | Every collection transaction an Oracle Quality collection plan is attached to, with the trigger conditions that decide whether collection actually fires, the Mandatory Collection, Background Collection and Enabled flags, and each trigger's field, database field, datatype, operator and low and high values. Attachments that collect unconditionally are listed too, with a blank Collection Trigger.
Attaching a collection plan to a transaction is what makes Oracle Quality collect anything at all: until a plan is attached to a transaction such as Receiving Transactions or Completion Transactions it… full description | Manufacturing Enginatics
| QA Collection Plans | One row per Oracle Quality collection plan, with the plan type, effective dates, instructions, specification assignment type, electronic signature mode and the template plan it was copied from, together with the names of the plan's generated results view and import view and counts of the elements, element values, transactions, transaction triggers, action rules, actions, child plans and parent plans that hang off it.
Oracle Quality stores every collection result generically in qa_results, and each plan gets its own dynamically generated results view and import view that map that plan's… full description | Manufacturing Enginatics
| QA Quality Results | One row per collection result and characteristic, so results from any number of collection plans stack in a single extract instead of one column per characteristic. Use Collection Plan like to pull a whole family of plans in one run, for example INC_MRC%.
Oracle Quality stores every element value as a string in a generic column of qa_results, and the plan's element definition decides which column holds which characteristic. Result is therefore text. Result Number carries the numeric conversion for Number elements so the values can be charted or averaged, and Date elements arrive as… full description | Manufacturing Enginatics
