Enginatics has launched the “Blitz Report Champion” program, a unique opportunity for Oracle professionals to showcase their SQL skills and chance to win cash awards and up to US$500.

We’ll also help promote the winners and participants in the Champion program to our clients, partners and business network.  It’s the least we can do in this challenging environment.

We believe in “win-win” relationships.

This is a difficult environment for many and if we work together we can help one another succeed on this journey towards the new normal.

We hope the Blitz Report Champion program allows us to give back to our community and help talented consultants, analysts and DBAs showcase their skills in a meaningful way and at the same time introduce Blitz Report to a new audience.

We truly hope this is a win-win opportunity for everyone.

• Start with unique reporting problem you’ve solved or would like to solve using your SQL skills – a solution that could help EBS users save time, provide better analysis or improves a business process.
• Next, you’ll need access to an Oracle EBS instance and a copy of Blitz Report. Your choices are;
  • Use Enginatics’ on-line demonstration system to access our Oracle EBS Vision instance, which of course has Blitz Report installed.
  • If you have access to an EBS instance, download and install your own copy of Blitz Report. It’s a 30 minute process and will include a free 90 day, 10 user license and all of the reports found in our reports library, so you’ll have lots of working examples.
• Create your SQL solution in Blitz Report. When ready, generate an Excel XLSX output file and use the Blitz Report export function to capture of copy of your SQL.
• Showcase your solution and an explanation of the business problem that it solves on your personal blog, LinkedIn or some other public forum that we can view and promote.

A prize of US$100 will be awarded at the end of each month to the best solution based on our scoring system. In addition, we’ll promote the winner through our social media providing as much recognition and visibility as possible.  We’ll also do an “honorable mention” post for other participants who we feel have provided unique, creative solutions but missed out the award based on the scoring.

Our first Quarterly awards will be held on June 30. We’ll select the top three submissions and award cash prizes of US$500, US$250 and US$100.

In addition to the awards, we will promote all of the winners through social media and showcase their solutions on our website.
