Before you install
Blitz Report installs into your existing Oracle Applications technology stack. Your DBA needs:
- Oracle E-Business Suite 11i, R12.1 or R12.2 on database 11g Release 2 (11.2) or later
- Application server access as the application owner, e.g. applmgr
- Database access to the system and apps users
- About an hour for installation, setup and the first report

What does the trial include?
The download includes a trial license key that runs every report and upload for three months, for any number of users. To keep all reports running, license Blitz Report per active user (pricing).
How long does the installation take?
The installation script typically runs in a couple of minutes. A few manual steps follow, such as access profiles and report security. Reading the installation guide, installing and running the first report take less than an hour.
Do I need a separate server?
No. Blitz Report integrates with your existing Oracle Applications technology stack and needs no additional server.
Can I use it on test and production?
Yes. The same license key works on all EBS environments, such as production, development and test, when the same users work on them.
Do EBS patches or upgrades break it?
Regular EBS patches usually don't affect Blitz Report; it detects your techstack version during installation. After a major change, such as 12.1.3 to 12.2 or a database upgrade, we recommend upgrading Blitz Report too.
