Quarterly Award Winners
The Program
We launched the Blitz Report Champion program in April 2020 to help promote the reporting and communication skills of Oracle EBS professionals. The program has always been designed to be a “win-win” – participants use Blitz Report to create a solution to a unique customer problem. They post their solution and explanation in a public, online forum such as LinkedIn, and then the Enginatics team helps promote them and their solution increasing their visibility and boosting their status as a subject matter expert.
In addition to the social media promotion, the BR Champion program also offers monthly and quarterly financial awards as an incentive to participants who invest their time and effort.
The end of the first quarter was June 30 and we are excited to announce our first Quarterly Awards winners. We have included links to several of the submissions and we encourage readers to visit these posts. Each of these participants has invested a lot of time and thought, so please take a moment to comment and let them know your thoughts.
The Winners
Outstanding Award – John Keymer – $500

John Keymer was an early participant in the Blitz Report Champion program, providing his first submission in April and has provided several follow-up submissions as well. His first entry – Absence Visualization with Blitz Report – is a creative solution to a tedious problem experienced by many HR professionals. At the same time, this solution demonstrates John’s creativity backed by a foundation of solid technical skills.

Clive-Ion is an international business transformation advisor who has helped numerous organizations update their technology and transform their business processes. He is part of a team of professionals that offer guidance and advice in areas such as ERP transformations, business acquisition, post-merger integration as well as strategy and execution advice.
Clive-Ion’s submissions to the Blitz Report Champion program are great examples of him using his experience and subject expertise to help create concise solutions to common problems faced by his clients, in this case targeting Oracle EBS.

Impressive Award – Shriganesh (Shri) Joglekar – $100
LinkedIn Profile: Shriganesh (Shri) Joglekar
Shri has been a technology professional for 17+ years with a recent focus on Oracle EBS Financials and Supply Chain Management. In his work, Shri discovered that the standard Oracle EBS VAT reporting forms did not meet the needs of many of his clients and sought to offer an alternative solution.
He used Enginatics’ demonstration version of Oracle EBS (a Vision instance) to create his Blitz Report Champion submission. This includes an excellent summary of the technical challenges’ consultants are often faced with when trying to create a report and the deficiencies of many of the standard tools. He was delighted to find that Blitz Report addresses many of these shortcomings and at the same time offers improved functionality and flexibility.
Shri’s solution also takes advantage of a feature recently added to Blitz Report – the ability to use a custom package and call PLSQL functions through before / after triggers within a report. Custom packages and the trigger functionality are an important addition to Blitz Report for clients looking to upgrade their EBS to version 12.2 and automatically migrate and replace Discoverer and XML/BI Publisher.
