SUMMARY:EBS Performance Tuning Simplified - Tips\,Tricks and a free toolkit!
DESCRIPTION:This session within the scope of the  RMOUG Training Days includes a free performance tuning toolkit with all SQL used in the presentation. \nWe will demonstrate how using this performance tuning toolbox for Oracle EBS allows quicker performance analysis and problem resolution than Oracle’s standard tools\, Enterprise Manager and AWR HTML reports.  \nWe will also walk through a performance audit\, allowing audience members (regardless of experience level) to gain valuable insight into overall system configuration review (e.g.\, memory setup and IO figures)\, followed by a drill down into individual problematic SQLs (based on AWR and ASH data). \nThe session will  include an Excel pivot analysis of active session history data to quickly identify areas of concern. We’ll review information on specific user wait times\, how many seconds a user spent running an SQL\, and which Oracle EBS form or background program executed the problematic SQL.
